Senior Event Manager for Marriott for 7 years, with 13 years of event planner experience in weddings, conference and meeting management with conventions, international investment conferences, regattas, golf outings, hiking trips, closing dinners across the US, and staff outings from Newport to Miami.


I also have experience planning walks and fundraisers for Epilepsy Foundation New England, responsible for raising $400,000 a year. I also do marketing outreach, social media, and sponsorship management. I have my MBA in hospitality and tourism management, a certificate in meeting management, am a Certified Meeting Professional, and I've taught event management classes for over 7 years.


During COVID, I spent almost a year and a half leading a virtual conference support team of 20+ across the country providing virtual conference support to conferences ranging from 100-15,000 attendees. 


These jobs have taught me how to multi-task, work independently and with a group of people, and how to serve the customer above and beyond their expectations. I’m experienced in site selection, skilled in contract negotiation, a pro at working within an especially tight budget and coordinating meetings from 100-300 people independently (and working with a team on meetings of up to 15,000).


I am eager to learn new things, expand my horizons, and meet amazing people along the way. I work hard, I play hard, and I dedicate myself to everything I try. My goal is to learn as much as I can about the industry I'm in to be the best at what I do, and find new and exciting ways to change the industry for the better.
