I have spent more than 30 years working in higher education marketing. I started at Wilkes University, a small private institution near where I grew up and had the honor of being the first person on staff with “marketing” in my job title. 

While there, an engagement with a large, national consulting firm was transformational in terms of my professional development and commitment to higher education. Eventually I became a consultant and traveled extensively for the next 23 years visiting campuses around the U.S., Canada and beyond supporting partners with digital marketing projects and through a national market research study.

For a few years afterward I pivoted to a consulting role in support of two leading ed tech companies (Mongoose and Modern Campus)  to help with new product marketing, a corporate rebrand, organizational structure and lead generation.

Now serving the University of Montana, the state’s flagship institution, as director of digital strategy and innovation and loving every second of it. Our team is making big things happen with digital asset creation including an episode of The College Tour featured on Amazon Prime, an extensive virtual tour and exciting new website projects.

My bonus gig is here, with you at the eduWeb Summit. What a gift to be able to support an event that has meant so much to me and all of the teams and client partners I’ve worked with over the years. Pivoting my career to higher education was the real highlight of my story and I am so excited to connect and collaborate with you in Philadelphia.
