Chaney has run marketing and communications teams at both Stanford University and UC Berkeley; prior to that, she co-founded a boutique consulting agency, World Education Group, that assisted smaller universities with international student recruitment. Before JAKALA, she served as the Director of Marketing and Customer Experience for Rick Steves' Europe.

A graduate of Stanford and Georgetown, she has worked in academia most of her career. Currently as Director of Client Success at JAKALA, she supports Ivy+ and major state institutions with large-scale web and digital projects.
