COVID Information

eduWeb COVID-19 planning

We know the eduWeb community values in-person collaboration and the entire eduWeb committee is ecstatic about our first in-person event since 2019. Not only have we redesigned the program to focus on it, but we’re also committed to making it a safe environment for everyone involved.

Your health and safety are our first priority.

We can’t wait to see you in person again in July in Philadelphia. We want you, your team, and your institution to feel completely confident about joining us this year. We are diligently tracking the latest health and safety guidance for events our size from the CDC, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and other event industry organizations. Since the guidelines can change frequently, we will be updating them as necessary and will implement all guidelines required by the venue, local, state, and national guidelines.

We are also pleased to work with our hotel partner, Hilton, and their Clean Stay initiative.

So what is required of eduWeb attendees?

  • Per the current guidelines (March 4, 2022), all eduWeb Summit 2022 attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff will be subject to the following mandates:

    • Proof of vaccination (OR proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours) must be provided on-site when you arrive. For purposes of this in-person event, an individual is fully vaccinated, as described currently by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) or the World Health Organization (“WHO”). For vaccinations obtained outside the United States: Interchanging the COVID-19 vaccinations listed above is acceptable for establishing fully vaccinated status.

    • Vaccination Exemption Request

  • Should recommendations or guidelines change closer to the event, we will update our mandates accordingly on this page.

Additional Health and Safety Considerations

We want to ensure you can enjoy eduWeb to the fullest. We will also be offering these additional measures.

  • Hand sanitizer and disposable masks available on-site.

  • Additional health and safety considerations during meals and snack breaks.

  • Event and space design to maximize physical distancing and personal boundaries wherever possible.

Anyone traveling to the event should read and abide by the CDC’s Travel Guidelines for domestic and international travel. If traveling internationally, please click here as there is a requirement for proof of negative COVID-19 test or recovery from COVID-19 for all air passengers arriving in the United States.
